The Method:
Put all the ingredients in a Crock-Pot. Fill the Crock-Pot all the way to the top with water. Cover and set the temperature control to a very light simmer. Cook the pork for about 15 hours. Add more water if needed throughout the cooking process. Remove the pork using a perforated spoon - place in a serving dish. The pork will shred during the removal process or you can pull it apart with a serving fork. Serve with thick cut white bread (Texas toast) and your favorite coleslaw. Make sure you leave plenty of the cooking liquid in the pork.

Note this recipe can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator and reheated when it is needed.
