graduating. That year I moved to the mountains and began working for a major ski resort for the next 3 years. In 1980 I went on a vacation to Hawaii, so I'm sure you can guess where I was off to next. I left the ski resort after I got back and got packed up and ready to move to the islands. I stayed over there for a little over a year before Rock fever had a firm grip on me and I came back to the mainland.
I then started working the hotel circuit starting in Colorado Springs and worked for a large hotel for a couple years before traveling on a task force for them. I ended up in Indianapolis at a hotel in downtown, which was great because I had always dreamed of going to the see "The Race", which I did in 1986. I returned to the Springs after a few years, remaining in some of the local hotels there. In 1991 right before my son was born I decided it was time to return to the mountains and the Ski Industry. I have remained up in Summit County Colorado ever since. My daughter was born in Frisco Co. in April of 1994, and was the first baby born in the county that year. Life in a small town or at least it used to be that way, the county has grown since then.
